SEABUCKTHORN BERRY
Our organic pure seabuckthorn berry powder is produced from the whole berry, not just the juice. Gently air-dried, this is as close as you can get to the whole fruit in a supplement form. Seabuckthorn berry has a well-deserved reputation as a superfruit, with an almost embarrassing level of nutrients - 24 trace elements and 18 amino acids for a kick off, and antioxidants - mainly carotenoids and flavonoids - as well as a shining 25% oil content, which includes an optimal ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6.
Modern nutritional science has identified one hundred and ninety distinct nutrients in Seabuckthorn berry. But it was a superfood for horses long before the eggheads did the analysis – its Latin name is from the Greek for "shiny horse"! It is one of the most nutrient-rich foods on the planet.
