FENNEL SEED
Although it's commonly known as fennel seed, it is actually the fruit of of the Foeniculum vulgare plant that is used. Prized by the Pharaohs and the ancient Romans and widely used as a medicine in Anglo-Saxon times, fennel seed is anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic, relieves gassy abdominal cramping and is an excellent appetite stimulator.
