We use the purest pharmaceutical grade Zinc Oxide powder in GG GreenBalm™ . Zinc Oxide was first written about as a wound treatment more than two and a half thousand years ago. Although it's probably best known these days as a sunscreen, to protect sore and delicate skin from sun damage, Zinc Oxide is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. It also helps to conserve moisture in the skin and it acts as a barrier to pathogens, making it a great ingredient to address a wide range of skin problems.
