TEA TREE OIL
TEA TREE OIL We first came across Melaleuca or Tea Tree Oil many moons ago when working in the tropical rainforests of Far North Queensland. It was regarded as something of a cure-all – a pharmaceutical one-stop shop when the nearest chemist was hundreds of miles away. The tropics, with their heat and high humidity, can be a pretty testing environment, a perfect breeding ground for pathogenic bacteria, fungi, microbes, viruses – you name it.....and Tea Tree Oil could deal with them! Of course, it is appreciated and used worldwide now - its reputation as a cure-all for nasty skin conditions is well deserved and it works just as well in less drastic climates.
We use organic TEA TREE OIL in GG GreenBalm™ which soothes sore and scabby skin.
