The only live yeast strain authorised for equine use under stringent EU regulations is Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Here at Horseward we use two state-of-the-art Saccharomyces cerevisiae (SC) products: Actisaf®, a protected live yeast; and Safmannan®, a premium yeast cell wall fraction. They are also a valuable source of quality protein and B vitamins.
